Our Mission and Vision
Our Mission: To protect with love, all of God's Gifts
Our Vision:
Here at St. Joseph’s Bradford, we aim to make a difference for every child. Through our school virtues, we strive to instil confidence, joy and a sense of belonging in our children.
We want our curriculum to be memorable and to provide our children with exciting and transformational opportunities.
The school seeks to give every person the welcome they deserve, the sanctuary they need and the belief that everyone can succeed.
Our Mission: To protect with love, all of God's Gifts by:
At St. Joseph’s, we aim to be a school community where we:
Protect creation - by learning about the world and how to conserve its resources
Protect God’s word - by keeping the words of the Bible at the centre of our school community
Protect myself - by developing the unique gifts and talents given to me through the Holy Spirit
Protect each other - by learning how to be a good friend, to have safe relationships and be a strong learning community in which everyone feels safe and valued
Protect those in need - through learning to understand the diversity of need on our planet, to understand and empathise with other people’s point of view, to respond with kindness and support to those who need our care especially those seeking sanctuary.
Matthew Chapter 5: 14-16
You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No-one after lighting a lamp puts it under a basket, but on the lampstand and it gives light to the whole house.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.
The Live Justly strand of our School Virtues helps us to understand the different gifts that we strive to protect as a school community.
