Sacramental Preparation
Together with Father Morkah, the school offers preparation for the Sacraments through family catechesis. (This means the child attends the session with a family member).
Confirmation preparation is offered to Year 6 children who have made their First Holy Communion. The sessions normally start in October with the Mass with the Bishop in December or January.
First Reconciliation sessions start in March and are for baptised children in Year 3 upwards.
First Holy Communion sessions usually start in the Summer term with the Mass in May. These are for children in Year 4 upwards who have made their First Reconciliation.
Please speak to Mrs Tolson if you have any further questions. If your children do not attend St. Joseph's but you would like them to prepare through the school, please contact the school office on 01274 727 970 or alternatively, email the school office with your child's name, dob and contact number on;
